It's the middle of November which is the time when the body's Vitamin D stores begin to decrease and some people might even have Seasonal Affective Disorder symptoms.  

I'm a big fan of using light therapy in the fall and winter months to to lift my mood and increase my energy along with supplementing with Vitamin D3.

Light therapy works by simulating the sunlight with full-spectrum light that is missing during the darker winter months.  

The light encourages your brain to reduce the production of melatonin (the hormone that makes you sleepy) and increase the production of serotonin (the hormone that affects your mood).  

Most people use light boxes for a minimum of 30 minutes each morning.
