Kale.
This wonderful leafy green is packed with nutrients and fiber not to mention you can add kale to pretty much any dish. I love to make kale chips, add it to my morning smoothie, or simply have a kale salad.
Kale has sulfur which is great for detoxifying the body and has omega 3's which decrease inflammation. It also contains vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, calcium, iron, folate, and magnesium.
Directions:
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
