Having a daily practice of meditation has profoundly changed my life over the last 3 years
By releasing daily emotions and energies, I feel more clear, less stressed, and more at peace with whatever comes my way. Some days I will meditate for hours while other days I can only get my mind to stop for minutes and it doesn’t matter how long-just that I can quiet my mind and let myself be in the moment.
Meditation can have profound effects on the quality of your life, your happiness, and the way you view stress.
You can make it into a daily practice, a weekly practice, or just use it when you start to feel stress.
I integrate meditation into my daily life in many ways from simply clearing my mind during my evening walks while focusing on my breath and the stars in the sky to visualizing before bedtime.
REMEMBER: there is no right way to meditate or no specific amount of time... just do your best, clear your mind, and breathe.
There’s many types of meditation out there and it’s best to let yourself feel what’s right for you, follow your intuition and it will guide you to the right modaility.
Ideas to infuse meditation into your daily life
Go outside, lay down, and just look at the stars...
Sit in a comfortable area and focus on your breath
Eat while you're away from the computer, the TV, and your phone. Let yourself taste the food and feel thankful
Find your favorite place (garden, sofa, forest) and just soak it up
Focus on a mantra or a single word. I like "abundance in all around" or "LOVE"
